Package stuck in transit locally

Happy Holidays Everybody,

I am very much aware of the shipping delays with USPS but typically when the packages hit my local distribution center, they are processed and sent to my local post office within 24 hours, even this season. I had a package arrive to my distribution center almost 10 days ago, it was processed the same day and is still in transit between my distribution center and my local PO which is less than a mile away. This seems odd to me.

Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do to get this package moving?

Thanks.

Its unfortunately not odd for 2020 USPS Christmas season. You can be concerned but it's a waste of energy since there is nothing you can do. Others will go on about filing a missing mail claim or research but USPS ignores those and does nothing to ho get it. They know where your package is....

At that facility in a hamper with thousands and thousands of others. You might get a courtesy call telling you that or just a mention in the tracking saying case closed. It moves when they get to it.

If you are spiritual, prayer or some grateful and positive words to USPS helps.

Seems like a question to ask your distribution centeror your local PO.
