I have been selling for over two years and not ONCE have had this happen to me.

I dropped a standard post 14x14x14, 14lb box off last Thursday at the post office with another package. The other package got scanned in and delivered (it was going priority so I understand it got there faster) but the 14lb box did not. To this day, it has not been scanned in anywhere so they have no record of USPS actually receiving it. It's going from MA to SC so would probably go up to NH to the sorting facility first then down again.

No, I didn't have the PO scan it in because they have scanned in every package I have brought it and I have not once had a problem with USPS until now.

Called the PO I dropped it off at and he said I basically just have to wait until it gets scanned. I signed up for all tracking alerts. How does a package go so long without being scanned in once?

So for the customer - If he inquires about where the package is, how do I deal with this? How long do I go until I offer a refund? What if I refund and the package ends up getting delivered?

Has anyone else had this happen before? Am I freaking out over nothing?

I'm guessing Parcel Select or Media?

I've had some show absolutely nothing until it got to the buyer's town. It didn't get accepted. It didnt show at the sort facilities... nada. It was treated like the red-headed stepchild, but it made it there.

When it happens now, I go to USPS and sign up for text alerts. For some unknown reason, all of a sudden I get some info when it moves.

It happen to me too two days ago, why postal office policy not scan it even those I did hand it in to the front desk clerk. It's second days priority mail service and three day have passed nothing yet. Ebay should enforce a polity with USPS or just remove their service totally, very sad no wonder this is why people hate USPS services.

It was parcel select so I do understand why it is a little slow. I signed up for both text and email alerts on Tuesday. Usually by doing so it moves it along for me also but this time nothing.
