Package Tracking Not Updating,Almost a week late

I ordered a small package on 3/8/2020,and it was shipped 2 days later. The only tracking info I have received from usps is that a tracking number was provided. It was estimated to be delivered on 3/16/2020,but now it almost a week past that. Should I be concerned or is it normal for packages to sometimes be late?

Open a case for  ITEM NOT RECEIVED.

That package hasn't gotten any scans at all indicating that is it even IN the USPS system. So I agree with the advice to open an INR claim.

alright did so thank you, just didn't the seller to be punished for something possibly out of their hands

As recently as this week, I'm still receiving 2-day First Class USPS service on my shipments (TN to TX).

Things might have slowed down in some areas, though. As posted, you're within your time frame for an INR. If you want to give it a couple more days... do that.
