POSTAL SHIPPING DELAYS

I have had 5 parcels "take a tour of the country" in the last month.  One was off the radar for 22 days.  Another never showed up in the USPS System at all  (after being scanned into the system at my local PO) and couldn't be tracked.

I have happy to say that ALL have eventually been delivered correctly..........

I think the PO has had to hire a bunch of newbies on the sorting side and they are screwing up royally.  But none have been totally "lost".

We are going through a disaster never before seen in our lifetimes..........things are going to take longer..............

I am just happy that the system is still working............however slowly .

Yeah, its all good until your customers open cases against you because of these shipping delays, and the only resolution Ebay gives you is to refund the customer.

In the last 2 weeks (May 2020) 2 packages I sent to different cities did not arrive, appearing to be stuck somewhere in the postal system, so filled out postal form and was contacted by both receiving post offices.  Bottom line is they are going to continue to try tracking the packages but they will probably never be found.  The postal employees that contacted me were very nice, but really of no help at all.  At this time they are blaming Covid-19, which is probably true.   Lately seems like many businesses are hiring inept temp employees to cover for those that are sick or quarantined . In my neighborhood lately I have seen many FEDEX deliveries to wrong street and even restaurant food deliveries to wrong addresses.  By the way, my customers have been extremely understanding about the situation!
