This was not a "Mistake" as the Seller Defenders are suggesting. This was an intentional deception. The seller has all of it's products listed as being in New Your, New York. But when you got to the seller's profile, this is what it says:

They are lying, plain and simple. I don't know how they are twisting the USPS system to make it seem like the item shipping from Ohio. There is something VERY screwy with this seller. A seller that is Based in Hong Kong, has Products in NEW YORK that shi from COLUMBUS, OHIO via USPS, but the package never leaves the receiving facility. There is no way you can slice that you don't end up with something screwy and deceptive.

I realize you are trying to justify this seller at all cost, but you need to read. The order was placed on December 30th and was not shipped until January 11th. That is 13 days. Okay, so if nothing else, that is horrible S&H. I have not sold on ebay in forever, but there used to be some standards for how fast you were expected to ship your stuff. It was never 13 days. Second. The Item is listed as being in New York. Not Columbus, Ohio. So, even if you are correct, they are still lying about where it is. Third. If the seller thinks the shipment is lost, they would go file a lost package claim. Has this seller done that? No! This seller is not saying the shipment is lost, they are saying it is on track, but just taking more time. They fully expect the package to take a long time. You have to ask yourself, why this is? Third, the seller is based out of Hong Kong, not the US, but is listing all their items as being in the US. That does not give you cause to question? Come on man.
Now, I want you to try to be a rational logical person and stop just blindly defending sellers and trying to find any ridiculous reason you can come up with to explain away this sellers actions that are clear for everyone to see.
Take this for example. They did not say they "Would not ship Overnight Express", they said they "Were not Able" to ship overnight express. Their statement shows that the option to ship overnight is not available to them. Now if they have these phones in New York or Ohio and they are working with USPS, how are they NOT ABLE to ship overnight express? Hum....? The only logical rational explanation for this is that the phones are not inside the US, but in Hong Kong where their business is located.
You can keep grasping at straws for how this seller is the good guy and I am wrong, but any rational person, when looking at the facts, would come to the clearly logical conclusion that, this is a Hong Kong based seller, shipping items from Hong Kong, which would explain why it is taking soooooo long to get here. Don't you think that is a rational conclusion? Come on man.
The issue here is not that this seller is in Hong Kong or that it is taking a long time for the items to get here. The Issue is that they listed the items as being in New York, and it was based on this, that I ordered from this particular seller. What you don't understand is that, this phone model is not a US model. Even Amazon.com does not have a listing for it. It is a particular model that is used on a unique network of the country where I am going. There are several other sellers on eBay that sell them, but they are all listed as shipping from Hong Kong or China. I order from China all the time when I can wait 4 to 6 weeks get stuff. I intentionally looked for a US-based supplier for this phone because I did not want to risk the phones not arriving.
Had this seller been honest and told me from the beginning that these phones were shipping from China, I would have never ordered from them. If they would have told me the truth when I first contacted them, I might have had time to find another source. But they strung me along deceiving me into believing that the delay was just a mail issue, and not because the phones were on a barge being towed by sea lions across the Pacific ocean. Now I am leaving without a phone that work where I am going, which is going to, leaving with no means of communication to my support network and may even put my safety and life in danger.
But thank you for taking this sellers side because you think they are just the best seller. May I please know your ebay store name. I want to make sure I buy everything from someone who values great customers service like you. ;-)
