Hi ! I got over charged on my Fed ex smart post by Aprox. $24.00. I know this type of thing has happened to a lot of people that use Fed Ex Smart Post or just Fed Ex. I have been doing Ebay and sending using Fed ex. I made a dispute that has been going on for about a month now. I have never had a problem with shipping till now. Has any one else won a dispute in this type of situation? So frustrated and scared to use Fed Ex now.😱

Never use fedex smartpost, dhl ecommerce, or any other hybrid shipper. Especially don't use a shipper that will "charge you later". By printing the label and shipping, you are agreeing to their terms.
-aka, so how'd that attempt at saving a few dollars work out for you?

There have been some issues with the fedex smartpost calculator and overcharges and I don't think they have been fixed. Honestly smartpost is a lousy service and you should avoid it. Its a hassle to deal with as you now know. And good luck pursuing an insurance claim. Neither fedex or USPS will take responsibility.

We found that shipping in poly bags for soft goods with Fed EX got a diminsional charge added on our bill so we switched those listings to USPS Priority mail and upped the price by $3.00 to cover the difference. On the other ones we used to ship in Poly Bags we switched to boxes no problems there with Fed Ex. I don't know why they are charging extra for poly bags and not for boxes.
