Since beginning of May, the orders that have already been shipped show up in the submenu "awaiting shipment". The have the tracking number and the label "shipped", but still, it is confusing, if not alarming, to see them there. Has anyone experience the same thing?

Same issue. I have (10) orders showing as awaiting shipment, but I shipped seven or them yesterday and three are new from this evening. What the heck eBay - fix our software!

Been my experience that USPS is scanning 1st Class less and getting slower to deliver. Some of my packages are not being scanned until delivery. Others are taking 3 or 4 days to be processed thru local distribution center, 40 miles from my house. Very poor service from USPS IMHO. Priority Mail is doing much better and I ship my more expensive items that way.

Having the same issue as well. My awaiting shipments page is a disaster. Please eBay fix this already, I've got 25 orders in my awaiting shipments and only 5 have not been shipped...

Me too...sigh...

Me three.

Same here. It's a shame how much eBay charges to have these kind of issues with their back end software. I wouldn't be surprised of a lawsuit from sellers that ended up shipping items twice due to this deficiency.

It been that way for awhile, not only that you get banged by ebay for it not being "Scanned" by the carrier into the system if not within ebays allotted time for the seller. Which begs me to ask how a seller becomes responsible for USPS carriers not scanning parcels in when in their hands.....The issue of awaiting shipment has become such an issue with BUYERS that want to know why their parcel has not been shipped, it has snowballed to the point I do not even respond, as it is like a domino effect you spend a lot of time explaining the reason(half the time they do not believe you) and you cannot be productive keeping everything rolling along, especially due to no fault of your own.

We just sent out 3 shipments on Friday to the same buyer, they only ordered 1. Today during our Saturday shipping this order was still showing under our shipments. We have sent this buyer 2 extra shipments and under their order it is now showing 3 separate tracking numbers. This evening the order is still showing up when we go to print shipping labels. We ship multiple shipments of the same item out daily so now we have to check each one manually to make sure we are not sending multiple orders to the same buyer?
The buyer will now receive 2 extra orders they did not pay for. This is unacceptable, we are trying to intercept these 2 extra shipments and have USPS sent them back to us, if we are successful USPS will charge $15 for each shipment (as they charge Priority) so we will take a loss of $30 in redirect shipping fees and if we don't get the items back we take a loss of $130 for the 2 extra items that were shipped. Do we contact the buyer? Maybe they will be honest enough and send them back to us if we send them a return label. Last month this was happening as well, thankfully I caught them, but today I'm thinking how many I may have missed.
You need to fix this issue, I have been selling online for over 15 years. Just came back to eBay a few months ago, I have never had this happen on any other selling platform, this is very unprofessional and certainly does not give me a lot of confidence in selling here.

Agree! That's terrible! eBay penalizes by increasing its commissions if we don't ship "on time" even if it's USPS fault not scanning "on time". If the box has more than one item purchased separately, a single label will count as many "not shipped on time".
