Option to Use the Old Packing Slip Format

The new packing slip format is too large for small packages and wastes a full sheet of paper.   We need an option to choose between the new packing slip format and the old concise format.

It prints too small on the 4x6 labels I use.  I normally print each packing slip first,  pull the item and then I place it inside the package before I print the shipping label.  Its really an invoice you're printing now (which I don't need) not a packing slip.  The other reason I use the packing slip is if the shipping label should come off or get damaged the correct address is inside.  An option to use the old format would be extremely helpful.  I left feedback for ebay regarding this.  Hopefully they will listen.

To any seller that does not like the packing slip format because it's too long / too many pages on large orders compared to the apparently retired format:

When you generate a packing slip from the "print packing slip and more" option on the Hub Orders page, there's a small link on the lower left of the pop-up window that says "tell us what you think" which pulls up a form that goes directly to the product developers.

They do read those comments and I suggest submitting your FB about the length of these less compact slips if it's negatively impacting your business.

Same here. I've also left feedback. Fingers crossed they will provide the previous format for 4x6 labels. It also makes not sense, in my workflow anyway, to print the packing slip after printing the shipping label. I usually measure, weigh, and purchase the shipping label after the package is complete and sealed with the packing slip already inside.

I agree with everyone here.  I print my packing slip on a third of a sheet of paper and can use what's left for another 1 or 2 more.  This new one is wasteful and too large for very small items.  I can shrink it but then it centers it right in the middle of the sheet which still wastes the what's left.  Also, in my work flow I print the packing slip first and tuck it inside, seal the package and then print shipping label.  Please give us the option to use the previous version!  Why fix it if it ain't broke?

If eBay is taking votes, i will say that I preferred the old one too.

I prefer the old version. The new version adds pricing, shipping and tax values. These are usually not supposed to be on packing slips. We need the option to remove the pricing, or to be able to use the old version. It was perfect as it was. My current workaround is to print the slip, cut off the pricing info, and then make a copy on the copy machine. It is a waste of time, paper, and toner, but it gets my customer exactly what they need. I hope to see changes soon.

Edit: Just noticed that there is now a "THIS IS A GIFT!" selection to remove pricing info. Not quite intuitive, but helpful nonetheless. Also noticed that there is a selection to remove the eBay store link (mine has a bunch of random words and looks silly.)

Instead of printing a packing slip which takes a whole sheet of paper, I print two labels on the same sheet of paper, inserting the paper upside down to print the second label to accommodate the two labels.  I then insert one into the box with the item.   I handwrite what the item is in case the buyer needs the information.
