I'm brand new to Ebay, and I'm sure this gets asked a lot, but I cannot find a clear answer to my questions about multiple item shipping setup.
I want to offer buyers a break on shipping costs when they buy multiple of one of my items. I'm using the Buy It Now option only. I sell flower magnets and the shipping is about $4 to purchase one. But, if the buyer buys 3, I could easily send them in the same package for pretty much the same price. I don't want the buyer to be charged $12 in shipping when I can send it for $4!
I've read about Combined Shipping, but that seems really unclear. A buyer has to request an invoice to have their shipping adjusted? Who is even going to know to do that? Sounds like a hassle for a buyer to me.
I was in a greeting card shop just now and the shipping price was .75c for one card, and an extra .25c for each additional card purchased. That's the kind of setup I want. How do I do that?
Thanks for the help.

You will need to set up some rules under in your Selling Account settings >Site Preferences> Shipping preferences > Manage shipping settings
You'll set up a rule for combining shipping and some other items there.
You'll also need to use Business listing tool instead of the Quick listing tool.
