Note from buyer: "Mark for delivery to side door". How do I do this when printing label?

This is from a longtime Ebayer so I assume he has requested this from others. It's a first for me. Any help appreciated!

I've gotten this request numerous times. I write in big usually colored letters (red or something bright), "Mail carrier, please leave this package by their side door, thank you!"

Carriers know what you mean and this buyer most likely has the same carriers and they already know to do that anyway.

When they ask you to "Mark" for delivery, they want you to label the outside of the box for the postman 🙂

You can write it on the package.

@busybeeshopper12

I would just write it on the package somewhere around the label.

Have a great day.

As @einstein-50 stated, you can write it on the package, but that does not mean that it will actually happen. You can not assure your buyer that the delivery person will follow.

I would explain that to the buyer.

Best,

Thank you for the replies. My first instinct would also be to write it on the label and also that I cannot guarantee the mail person will do so but maybe they are used to this request from this person. I am still confused that they used the term "mark" for delivery by side door. Wasn't sure if there was some check box or something I am missing. I suppose I could message them and ask.

@busybeeshopper12  I just remembered something

I'm pretty sure the buyer has to do it on their end but this might be helpful

Thanks for sharing! It does seem like something the buyer would do on their end. I'll take a look.
