Not understanding what Fast and Free mean

Purchased an item on Sept 17, 2018, paid for within minutes.  Received good feedback from seller.  Waited for tracking number of item.  None came.  Item was then shipped on Sept. 20th but delviery time was for Sept 21st.  This item is coming from Louisiana to New York.  Is putting Fast and Free on the auction page false advertizement when the item will take about 10 days to go regular USPS?

Those are just estimates as to when you should expect your

package. It will not take 10 days for delivery from La. to N.Y.

eBay puts that logo on the listing when they ESTIMATE the item will arrive to you within 4 business days. It does not take 10 days for an item to be shipped from Louisiana to New York.

What does the tracking say?

A Priority Mail or First Class package from LA to NY should take about 3 days.

I'm understanding it should be 4 business days, yes? But the seller didn't ship the item for 4 days after it was paid for. So my main question is,

is the Fast and Free 4 business days for the seller to ship or 4 business days for the item to reach me?

It’s the time it takes to reach you. When ebay estimates that the item will arrive to you within 4 business days after you place the order, they will display it in the search results/on the listing. They wouldn’t have displayed it if the sellers handling time was 3 business days so it appears your seller shipped late.

It's 4 business days to reach you.  So if you paid on Monday Sept 17, eBay estimated that it would arrive by Friday, Sept 21.  If it arrives tomorrow, that's the 5th day after purchase so it would be only one day late.

If the package got an acceptance scan on 9/20, then the seller did mail really late, and you can show your opinion of this delay when you leave feedback, particularly the 1 - 5 stars score for shipping time.
