and maybe don't want to hear the truth, but what will be will be.
This is my second post regarding this sale. Three weeks afte this buyer purchased a pair of shoes she filed a SNAD case because the shoes were a narrow width and didn't fit. These shoes are not a narrow, but it won't do any good to tell her or ebay that. So I'll have no choice but to send her a return label (with refund pending). BTW, These were not a free returns item.
So, out of curiosity, yesterday I googled this person and found her facebook page, and strangely enough here's this photo of her in summer flip flops that show her feet perfectly. They're so wide they're spilling over each side of her sandals. The shoes I sold her are oxfords made out of very soft leather, and were in like new condtition. They'll be ruined if someone with feet the width of hers wears the shoes for any length of time. If they come back stretched out or damaged in some other way what are my chances ebay will side with me for a partial refund? Ebay also stated they may refund the cost of return shipping if I apeal the case. I don't bank on what ebay tells me, I wish I could.
A dose of karma should go out to this cheat, who sells $1600+ channel handbags and loose diamonds with no remorse for sticking it to the little guy.

Partial refunds are only available to a seller if they offer free return shipping on the item. You do not appear to be doing that on other listings. So, if you don't offer free return shipping for a SNAD, you will just have to offer a full refund for the item, plus you are paying for shipping both ways.
False SNADs are hard to prove from a seller perspective, but sometimes you can argue with eBay to cover return shipping if the seller is obviously abusing the Money Back Guarantee.

But, if you did offer free return shipping on this pair of shoes, then a partial refund is available. If you look on this page for how to handle a return request, you will see a section entitled "Refund deduction guidelines table". Click on that and you will see how much to deduct in case the item is returned in a different condition.
For partial refunds, eBay doesn't "side" with you. That is simply your decision.

Zero.

None of that really matters to anyone but you. I know it is frustrating. But according to the rules here on Ebay once a SNAD is file for any reason they file it, it is your responsibility to pay the return shipping and take the return, unless you prefer to refund the buyer and allow them to keep the item.
You have to offer 30 or 60 day returns with Seller pays shipping [aka free returns] to be able to do a partial refund on a SNAD.
