For the I still believe DVD that someone brought from me, it was delivered to their house already today. The 2nd tracking number of it is ending at 8. That was a error of the tracking number ending with 8. Is there a way to remove it since the item was already delivered ❓❔

Did you print 2 shipping labels by mistake? If yes, you can void the one that was NOT used. Go to MY Ebay. Find shipping labels. LOok for the actual ad and then on the right side, you get some choices. Click VOID label. You can only void 4-5 days after buying the label. If it's too late, you got charged for this label and nothing can be done about a refund.

Are you saying you manually entered the tracking number and you mistyped it? If so go edit it. The edit button is just below the item here:

I try to edit the tracking number ending with 8. It still won't let me do it. It says it can't be changed once the item been delivered.

Ebay doesn't know it was delivered if you put in the wrong tracking number. So you need to explain the details better.

And, since the item has apparently been delivered, how much does the accuracy of the tracking number matter?

If the buyer opens an INR, simply enter the correct tracking number in your response.

I don't think that is true. I've mistyped tracking numbers before as a seller. I checked the delivery status and it was delivered. Since I knew at this point the buyer could technically open an Item not received.....I edited and put in the CORRECT tracking number hours AFTER delivery. Not sure what this OP is talking about unless a case was opened possibly.

Unless the buyer has opened an item not received case I would just leave it alone. If they do just enter the correct tracking number as others have stated.
