I've recently bought a game. Everything went as normal and seller was very nice and communicative. I also paid more for Express mail. The seller has already shipped this item and everything is most probably going as it should be. But the thing is that I haven't received any tracking number of this item and when I even go on tracking site here on eBay, it says "Tracking isn't available right now. Please try again later." I thought this was because he shipped this item on Sunday and that it would show me the tracking number at least, but the site has been stuck like this since Sunday until today. Now the seller has assured me that it was sent by Express and that there might be delays because of pandemic, but why can't I track the item at all? I just hope it doesn't have anything to do with the "new mutation" of virus, because I bought this game from UK (it should come to Slovakia). And some flights/journeys are stopped from this country. Any advice? Should I just wait more? Thank you.

When you ask whether you should wait more, you should mention when you purchased your game. If you purchased it a week ago, of course you should wait.

Although obviously everything is delayed, what shouldn't be delayed is your seller providing you with an international tracking number and a proof that they actually mailed your game, a postal receipt if the internet tracking shows nothing.

The number should be in the following format:

XX000000000XX

X represents letters that vary for various countries, in between are 9 digits. If they can' t provide you with that, to be covered, start an item not received case when the estimated delivery date as shown by ebay will have passed. (of course presuming it does not arrive before that date).

If they do provide you with a valid tracking number and it does show that it was mailed then you have to be patient. The new UK travel bans concern only airline passenger, most of the goods are being exported as before this new ban.

I ordered it on 18th and got shipped on 20th. I know it's a short time, but I used to have tracking number much faster.

USPS tracking is down site-wide right now, at least it was when I checked their website 15 minutes ago

Well it's definitely not USPS, since I ordered it from UK to Slovakia.

Tracking is not availble because ebay is not spending any funds on hardware upgrades and hasnt for over

ten++ years. They are still using spining sata drives and not solid state drives, why? cost !

Think back how long it took us to get updates.

They need to go to IBM /DELL / HP and purchase drives so it can keep up with th e demand.
