Did you mean:

No return of the shippingcost even though the Item was never shipped.

Hi,

I ordered an item, listed as in stock, seller then told me after the purchase that they were out of stock and wouln't get any restock.

Asked me to the cancel the order, now when my refund is issued i noticed that the shippingcost is not refunded.

Why?

The seller is extraordinarily shortsighted and has put themselves in line to be hurt.

Tell the seller you expect a refund of the shipping charges as well. Even to the point of filing a charge back through whatever method you used to pay for it. If they refuse leave negative feedback.

Report the seller to eBay for cheating the system. THEY should have cancelled the order because they were out of stock. Doing what they did us a violation of eBay rules. And make it clear in the report what they did. eBay takes Out Of Stocks as a cardinal sin.

As you’re in Sweden, did the listing state that the seller was shipping with eBay international shipping?  When a seller uses that method the international shipping costs go directly to eBay not the seller, so when a seller uses the cancel option the portion the seller received comes from their funds and the international shipping comes from eBay.  Did you receive something saying that the transaction was cancelled?  It's possible that the seller used the wrong option to refund you which resulted in eBay not refunding their portion.

If it was through eBay shipping, you should contact eBay by clicking on the help & contact link at the top of most pages.
