My item is with Argos click and collect but i cannot collect because i have no collection code and they won't give it to me without a collection code. its past one day now and still no code . Who is responsible for sending the codes out? What can i do?

Danny, if your seller adheres to click and collect protocols then when your parcel arrives at the collection point it will be scanned and this triggers a collection notice going out to you. If your seller labelled your parcel incorrectly, without an eMC code, you don’t get a collection notice and the item goes back to the courier. Here’s the problem, it may still show as being delivered to the collection point. This happened to me. Until you get a collection notice, tell your seller you are treating it as not delivered, no matter what tracking they have showing it’s been delivered to your collection point. It’s click and collect, not click and deliver. I reckon it’s the seller’s responsibility to make sure your item is released to you. Good luck.
