I can't find awaiting shipment on this new dashboard...it is a real mess. I can't even access the actives.

If you are using the Seller Hub, go to your Overview page. At the top left, there are a series of tabs with dropdown menus. Under the Orders tab, choose All Orders. That will take you to your sales waiting to be shipped.
