I recently made a purchase & had to return the item of which I returned the same day . Feb 29 2020 . ebay was to handle this for me & has not. held up to their policy. I was to receive my refund March 10 in the amount of $51.00.

I have tried calling ebay & their automated answer robot could not connect me . I have been an ebay purchaser for years. What else can I do to get my money back

Three things:

Did your return have tracking, and does the tracking show that it was delivered back to the seller? If not, then this might explain the hold-up.
Was your purchase through PayPal? If so, the refund will be made through PayPal and to the method that you originally used for payment. PayPal can take up to a month to refund your money ... depending on a lot of factors. But, typically, the refund happens within a week.
If the refund doesn't happen within 30-days, then file a chargeback with your credit card.

I have been a buyer for years, & I have never gone through this kind of a problem with returns. Refund was to be refunded back to my card, as I do know paypal is a slow as snail mail. Even in case invoice , refund is not there & certainly not in my account.But Thanks for your info

You forgot to answer any of @orangehound questions.
Also, did you open an eBay mbg case using defective/non-described/damaged item or was it a remorse return? did you request/print/use a prepaid return label from either your seller or eBay? if you bought your own label did you upload the number? if a snad did you get an acceptance within 5 business days?
