Sick & tired of getting neutrals for something I DO NOT control - postal service efficiency! Why do sellers always get the blame for that?!

that is exactly what I am referring to.
the OP`s original message is a bit shorter than the one I replied to but there is no mention of it being shortened

I hope the OP returns to comment on Message #11. I didn't see the post until after Message #11 had already been posted, so I didn't see what may have been the OP's "original" comment. Seems odd 1tuna would have made that reply in Message #2 if there hadn't been some kind of disparaging remark in Message #1.
Did you edit your original post to delete a comment about USPS?
To be clear, it's not the comment itself I'm interested in--it's whether there's a glitch with the Community software not capturing/displaying notations regarding posts that have been edited.
Thanks!

@craigstevensstudio wrote:someone with common sense would make "SEPARATE " feedback, one for the seller one for shipping company. (that way the buyers can easly separate the feedback.
Overlooking that fact that only one feedback comment can be left for each transaction.
How is feedback handled on your new selling platforms now that you've stopped selling on eBay? Do those platforms have a better feedback system? Do you participate in discussions about feedback on the community boards on those new sites you sell on now?

Thanks for @ mentioning me on your post. I've seen this happen once before (or at least I'm confident it happened), so I've passed a link to this thread along to my contact to take a look.
I really do hope @sakic92710 will return and confirm it as well.

Hello. I did not edit.

I see the misunderstanding. The comment about USPS is in my reply to a neutral. Not on this board. 🙂

your original post was a couple of sentences longer .
it looks like it got tidied up by someone.
i have had two posts censored /disappear recently and was only notified about one
I think its done out of convenience once in a while to cut down inflammatory bickering
I did not even look at your neutral response until 4 hours after your original post

Because it is the sellers responsibility to get item to buyer in timely manner in the condition described in listing.

I didn't know the post office didn't like people from California.

The first neutral is for a package that didn't arrive. If that package shows up with a delivery scan within 30 days, you can get the FB removed.
The second neutral is for a package that took a long time to arrive. If that package arrived within the estimated delivery date, you can get the FB removed. If the package showed up after the estimated delivery date, the FB will stick.

CA as in Canada, not California.

Timely? How? Deliver in person? lol

Neutrals do not harm your ratings. They are probably chosen by the buyer to keep from reducing your overall positive rating, although they/we are not satisfied with the delivery performance and wish to express that thought. It is still and will probably remain the buyer mindset that a seller is responsible for our satisfaction with a purchase all the way through the delivery to our door, regardless of seller's chosen courier, delays and all. I would never neg a seller on delivery time UNLESS you intentionally do not ship on a timely basis, then I would just completely quit looking at your stuff and not come back. In short, in a buyer's mind, timely delivery IS your responsibility right after you have been paid.

Can't say I ever had an issue with USPS shipping ,except for two times that separate shipments got lost at the same facility in Jamaica, NY. Always shipped via Priority mail and First Class Package. Had 1 day handling and often would ship same day( if my carrier hadn't already came by) and would ship on Saturdays on those late Friday purchases. Some sellers will only ship on items bought on Friday on the following Monday 'cause it didn't count against their handling time. That never made sense to me as I have there money and their product, it doesn't save me any time if I get it in the mail on Sat or a Monday, buyers like to get their stuff earlier than expected, I always had a Customer First approach to selling - even in my 41+ years career in Sales & Marketing, USPS moves packages on Sat /Sundays. My customer feed back said they like my Quick shipping. 45 % of my shipments went to the Western States, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam from GA. Did not ship internationally. But to each their own. Just believe my approach separates me from the laggards and the buyer and there $$ is King or Queen. Do realize some folks have a full time day job and couldn't do what I could as I was retired before i started selling on eBay.
