I just received a message this morning that an eBay buyer went through eBay to have a listing removed a month after they received the item. Ive never seen a message like this before. It appears that the buyer will receive their money back, claiming they did not authorize the purchase and they will get to keep the item.
In the message I received from eBay today, it states that I will receive credit for all fees. What about the price of the item and shipping costs? Will I have to pay out of pocket or will eBay pay it?
thank you!

Please post a copy of message you received and no doubt experienced buyers and sellers will give you advice and information that will be of help.
Your post suggests there is a Charge back claim and cited reason is Unauthorised purchase.
This claim may not/ will not be from the buyer but from person whose Bank account was used to make the payment. As a victim of Fraud this person gets his money back from Banks and as you were the recipient of those funds eBay's managed payment provider may try to recover these from you. This would only happen if you have not followed all of eBay's policies.
There must be something else as this kind of case on it's own does not result in removal of a listing.

The other posted said it well. I don't have direct experience under MP with such a situation. The only thing I suggest is to read ebay's ' manual' about disputes etc and follow the steps exactly as you will be asked.
