I prepaid for a USPS shipping label through eBay, but when I attempted to ship the package, USPS informed me that the box was too large for the selected service. They would not accept the package, so I was unable to ship it using the label I purchased.
I’d like to request a refund for the USPS label, as I will now need to ship the item using a different carrier that can accommodate the package size.
Please let me know what steps I need to take to complete the refund process.
Thank you

Make sure you enter accurate weight/dimensions when you purchase your labels. If the weight/dim exceed the service limits, you'll be blocked from purchasing the label and prompted to use a different service so you can avoid situations like this.
To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Cancel from the Actions drop-down. The cancel option is available for 28 days.
It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label as the carrier wants to make sure the label isn't used. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (eBay funds, bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.

Go to your shipping labels and click Void in the menu next to the label.
It'll take 3 to 4 weeks to receive the refund.

You can go back to the page where you purchased the label. There is a option to void it out.
