Apologies if the explanation for this is obvious and I should know it.
I sold a Thermos-type bottle plus a separate bottle opener (both Klein brand), both items together in the same listing.
The buyer messaged me saying "You have to indicate that there are 2 units to appear on the ebay invoice, as well as shown in the photo, thanks".
Their profile shows they reside in Mexico, but the mailing address is in Texas and includes the line "EB45217-B" which I suspect gets the package forwarded across the border (?)
I asked the buyer for clarification of their message but they haven't responded.
Any ideas you may want to share about how I should proceed will be much appreciated!

Your item title states both the beverage hauler and the opener, and the picture includes both. What you could do is include both a packing slip AND print off a copy of the transaction that includes the photo. Enclose that in the package.

Yes, it does sound like they are using a forwarding service. Perhaps they just want to ensure that the forwarding service understands that the package should contain two items so they don't overlook one.

Rather than (or in addition to) special paperwork, I'd put the two items together in a clear plastic bag before doing the rest of the padding and other packaging.
