My buyer selected a UPS service but I only use USPS. Can they just change the carrier on me like tht

I went to print a label for a sale I just made today. I could swear I put USPS on the listing because it is the only shipping carrier I ever use. But the top of the Print Your Shipping Label says, "Your buyer selected a UPS service which isn't available to print here on eBay yet, however you can print discounted USPS and FedEx labels below. To find out how to print discounted UPS labels with UPS marketplace go here (a link to UPS)".  Can a buyer just change my shipping method like that? They never sent me a message that they were going to do this. Is this a scam? Please advise.

If you are referring to the Barbie lot, your listing quotes UPS .... not USPS.  My guess is that you accidentally selected the wrong shipping service when creating the listing.

I doubt your buyer cares how you ship or will even notice. I'd use usps regardless.

This happened to me a couple of times. I had mistakenly chose the wrong service when I listed my item. I believe I ended up printing the USPS label thru paypal. Select item in paypal then I believe it says ship item, then you choose method. The packing slips and record don't print the same but your shipping label will.

I think someone would notice that there UPS package is coming via USPS. They will certainly notice if they get the tracking number and start tracking it.

Some people have accounts with UPS and may want to leave specific directions for the delivery on their account, which they can't do if the seller ships USPS.
