On the sept. 16th I contacted the seller about an item I ordered. Tracking history shows it was delivered but i haven't received it. Local post office won't take responsibility and the seller says they're not responsible either. Again on sept. 24 another request was opened. I was trying to have eBay step in at this point but somehow opened a new request. How do I get eBay to step in though it says they won't until the 3 days is over? Thanks for your help!

You will have to wait until the 3 days have elapsed.
If tracking states that the item has been delivered to you, ebay will not find in your favor.
You will need to provide ebay with evidence for example to show that it was addressed to someone else, etc, for you to prevail.

@megasammon0 Your issue is with the post office. They can tell you where they delivered it. You won’t win an eBay case. You need to deal with the PO. It’s really not the sellers responsibility unless they shipped to the wrong address.

You might want to call or email your credit/debit card company used to fund the payment and initiate a chargeback.
Terrible idea.
