Missing Package

I bought an item from a seller that apparently does not live in the US. The package was sent via Aquiline shipping. I received an email stating that my package was delivered. I was home but there was no package. I have contacted the seller many times stating that I did not get the item. They said I did and sent me the tracking information from Aquiline saying that it was passed off to the USPS and they delivered it. There is no origin on the tracking for the package and no specifics about USPS tracking. USPS says that without a tracking number they cannot verify or deny any delivery. The sellers only help on this was to send me the Aquiline tracking information. No help at all. If you search Aquiline in this forum you will find many people have the very same issue with false delivery with this shipper. I asked Ebay to step in and help and even they agreed my package was delivered and denied my claim. Even with the limited and sketchy tracking information. There is no one you can call to discuss the situation at Ebay. Too big to offer any kind of decent customer service I guess. Signed, Frustrated! (Thanks for letting me vent.)

Is that the seller dropshipping from Amazon, which is not allowed here.

They use Aquiline to convert Amazon tracking numbers to USPS so they can be tracked.

For the seller to win the case, they had to provide a USPS tracking number showing it was delivered.

Do you have the USPS tracking number?

Thanks for responding. They gave me an Aquiline tracking number which states that the package was handed over to USPS for delivery. I have asked multiple times for a USPS tracking number but they all just ignore me. The USPS said they cannot verify anything without their tracking number. As an interesting aside, there is no way to contact Aquiline to ask details. Ebay has closed the case in favor of the seller. Im very frustrated.
