I've seen some packages seeming to get lost recently, no doubt slowed down because of bad weather, so I opened three missing mail cases.
This morning the USPS called me and told me the last package was out for delivery, and I saw that the other two were found and moving again the day after I opened the cases.
I'm impressed.

Asking about a problem solves the problem.
Whether you have a missing item, like these, a memory lapse, like when is your kid's birthday, or a fact like whether the UK is a democracy, asking another person will solve the problem even if the other person does nothing.
👆 This . Exactly.

I have been dealing with FedEx ,UPS and usps for 30 years of using their shipping service . . I have had to file reports for missing and lost case's over years with first hand experience with their management and have been told by them that packages on drop off or pickup where never scanned and left setting in the building for 2 to 3 days and even 15 day's , And documented ! you can stick the pony express where sun don't shine .

Ahh, come on man....
Get with those managers you know and tell them to update the entire logistics plan there. They can do better.

Something "out for delivery" can get mailed the next day or Monday(USPS)....I see that all the time.
Normal shipping person or mailman is his day off so ....someone not accustomed to the route throws it to the person the next day. LOL. I wait a day or two before bothering the USPS.
I wouldn't open a "can of worms"...unless you have the time.
I have not had an item lost last year by the USPS....a lot of my items don't have tracking so they reach coast to coast in 4-5 days(secret). Tracking will make your items take longer to get to you.
And never email a buyer if they received their item....some items do not get tracked as "delivered".
Let the buyer ask you first.
