Is first class shipping an option?

I just listed an item that is 1 ounce and it let me choose first class shipping for $1.85. Is that something new or is that a glitch?

Will it fit in an envelope? Just looked. If it's the bookmark... it will.

No glitch. Its first class letter or large envelope with no tracking. Basically you put stamps on it because eBay doesnt have labels to print for that service. 
If I'm incorrect someone will chime in to correct me.

Yes, it is a bookmark. I stand corrected, it's $1.35. I have listed several bookmarks in the past and First class was not an option.

eBay added First Class Letters and Large Envelope/Flats as options.

As said above, these are untracked services and you cannot purchase postage labels for them through eBay. Most people using these options purchase postage stamps, or purchase untracked labels from stamps.com

Max weight and dimensions to access these services through the listing form:

• USPS First Class Letter (untracked): max weight 3.5 oz / max dim 11.5x6x1 (actual thickness of physical letter cannot exceed 1/4")
• USPS First Class Large Envelope/Flat (untracked): max weight 13oz / max dim 15x12x1 (actual thickness of physical envelope cannot exceed 3/4" and it must be flexible & of uniform thickness)

Thank you for that information. I appreciate it. That would feel so odd for me, like going back in time putting stamps on an envelope for an eBay item.
