Made a purchase from China, got a Tracking #ending in HK

Been over a month but checked the status of the shipping it no longer has the HK tracking but now a USPS tracking??

I'm confused!!

Sellers ship with a local carrier and the package gets a tracking number. When the package is transferred to the US it's assigned a new tracking number that will register with your local carrier, in this case USPS.
