I shipped an item to a buyer in Maine, but the USPS tracking number shows that it was delivered to Montana. It was not a label switch because I have shipped nothing to Montana. The receipt (attached) shows both states, but with the shipping price next to the correct, Maine, address. Is there anything I or the buyer can do except hope that whoever received it is honest enough to return it?

Nothing to do except refund and hope it's returned.

There are two packages on that receipt.
One package (pre-paid) going to Billings Mt with the highlighted tracking number.
The other a Media Mail package that you paid for at the window going to Farmingdale Me with the tracking number for that one below it.
What I think happened is because this was a retail postage purchase YOU imputed the wrong tracking number for the package heading to Maine. According to the tracking it should arrive there on the 16th.

Just update the wrong tracking number to the correct tracking number: 9549012021380101310455
Go to the Sold section of your My eBay.
From More actions, select Add tracking number.
Then add, edit or delete the tracking number.
Click Submit.
