Lot shipment, Item will have more than one box

I want to list a lot of 50 items.  Will need to be shipped in two separate boxes.  Can this be done?

Sure, just make sure to put it in you listing that items will be shipped in two boxes.  Also make sure to add both Tracking Numbers into eBay.  If you want the buyer to pay for shipping you will have to estimate the shipping for one of the boxes and add it as a Handling Fee or you could make the entire shipping a flat rate shipping.

What size boxes do you plan on using?

As stephenmorgan said yes and his advice is good.

Now as to the HOW. After you print the first label return to your ship screen and click on "purchase additional label" (or words to that effect, they keep changing them,). The second label will have a different tracking number which eBay SHOULD add automatically to the sales ticket, but double check to be sure.

Yes @dalton678 , you can purchase up to 5 shipping labels per transaction. That said, you'll need to be clever when setting up ship costs (unless you do "free" or flat cost shipping).

Unfortunately the system does not allow an option for setting up calculated shipping on multi-box shipments. Buyers need to be shown ship cost upfront; you can't invoice for higher shipping after the fact. Some general workarounds we sellers use:

• Use calculated shipping, entering the weight/dimensions of the larger/heavier box. Add a flat handling fee to cover the cost of the second box. If you base that fee on the rate to the furthest zone you can refund any overage to a buyer in a closer zone if you want (or keep it and put it towards packing materials and fees).

• Set up rate tables. With rate tables you'd use a flat ship cost, but can enter different amounts based on zone. Basically, you'd calculate shipping on both boxes, add the rates together and you've got your flat rate - do that for each zone so close buyers aren't overcharged and far away buyers aren't undercharged. https://www.ebay.com/ship/rt/
