Lost Tracking Number

Is there any way to get a tracking number from eBay? I returned an item and eBay created the return label, so I printed it out, put it on the package, and had it picked up by the USPS (so no receipt.) I also can't get any information from any of the emails, and if I go back to reprint the label, the page will no longer load.

The seller is saying that they never received the return.

I do have the pickup confirmation number and it confirms that the package was picked up, but the status says canceled?

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.

eBay automatically babysits the tracking on the label you printed at eBay.

So you would have seen an email message from eBay:

    Subject: Track your return: [name of item]

as soon as USPS scanned it.

You should ask USPS about that pickup cancellation number.

It's not a cancellation number, it's a pickup number verifying that they took poseession of the package. But they didn't connect the tracking number to it, so I can't use it to track.

And the eBay page doesn't show the tracking number, either. Tracking numbers are created when the info is sent to USPS, it doesn't necessarily be picked up yet...so if USPS had lost it, it would still exist.

I appreciate your help. Any other ideas, lay 'em on me.
