Today I had my first sale through option local pick up and receiving of payment upon pickup, since buyer was from the same city.
Although everything was finalized succesfully, I had couple of serious concerns regarding the entire workflow.
1. Upon purchase I was pretty confused whether in message to buyer I am allowed to give him my address and phone in order to arrange pickup of item, and whether sharing of these details in message is considered violation of EBAY policy. In that respect, what is the proper way to share pickup address with buyer?
2. Although eBay instruction suggest that buyer will get QR code and passcode that needs to present to seller, he stated that he didn't get anything. I also didn't found any option to mark that I have handed over the item to buyer. I've only checked that item is dispatched and paid, although buyer came to me to take it over. What is the right path for buyer to get QR code upon purchase which will present to seller during takeover, is it valid only for purchases within USA?
