eBay should generate a label for lithium battery devices we sell. If we sell a cell phone, iPod or any device containing lithium battery, it should have appropriate shipping label, but eBay does not do that, although we got the memo that these items are now restricted and need to be marked as such.
I came to Post Office mailing an iPhone and the regular USPS shipping label price was cca. $4.25, but when I told the clerk it was an iPhone, she charged me $10.00 and told me that it has go "Retail Ground".
Lot of stuff on eBay has a very low price and contains this battery, meaning they ship it as non restricted content.
eBay should generate a label for restricted items like cell phones, iPods, etc.
So, where is the solution? eBay rep, please review this, thank you!
Any solutions? Thank you!

eBay expects sellers to use the appropriate shipping service for whatever they're selling. They did post an announcement in July about shipping lithium batteries here.
You've sold a lot of electronic devices recently @sincro. Familiarize yourself with the USPS regulations then update any active/future listings so buyers pay for the ground shipping service you'll be using.

Thank you, there it is, I highlighted it on the screenshot, "the Ground Service", but it would be nice if eBay bots could generate a label for those items along with the imageSurface Transportation Only.

This change makes a lot of smaller electronics unsellable. A lot of 4-6 oz MP3 players, phones, cameras, and other misc stuff that is only worth $20. Paying $4 to ship them, and you can still make $10 after fees/shipping, but when that rate doubles, and then you take the risk of a return, paying more to ship them than the profit is not worth it.
Why can't they just make 1st class parcel ground and be done with it?

Old news.
This has been in place since June, and doesn't apply to new in original packaging btw.

That is why I was wondering why some sellers ship batteries via First Class Mail. Good to know. I do follow the new rule, it makes lot of sense. Still lot of sellers are not familiar with it. But, we evolve and do our best.

Because some first class mail goes by air.
