Late Shipping Defect

I had item was in auction ended sept2, buyer didnt pay till sept 4. Printed label and carrier uploaded scan the 5th. Was in transit to Pureto Rico. But hey there a hurricane going on. Carrier holds package and delivers it on the 14th. Now i am getting a late shipping defect cause buyer says late delivery. REALLY?

Called CS and explained.

I thought there was to be defect forgiveness in buying/selling shipping for the hurricane events?

If you have 1-day handling, the scan on the 5th should have protected you from that. Maybe call again?

There should be, but like most of the world, CS may be ignorant of the fact that PR was decimated by the hurricane. Id call back and try to get a supervisor
