Item specific shipping policies

What is the easiest way to set up shipping policies for items that all weigh about the same (just below 1lb)?   Can one use "sorting" and set up the same shipping policy for caps for instance?

If you ship everything the same way, you can use the same shipping policy for all items.

I don't ship all items the same way at all...I got media items for instance.  One policy would not work.

Then set up one policy for Media Mail.

Me, I do free standard shipping and set 1 shipping policy for everything.

When an item sells and I go to buy the label, then I decide how I want to ship.
