How do you folks go about these possible returns? Tracking says the sports card was delivered to their address and buyer says they never received anything. Buyer says they went to the post office and with a tracking number they are SOL.........ebay standard envelope does have a tracking number. Feels like a possible scam starting. Tracking online says everything was delivered on time.

eBay goes by the tracking. If they file a not received case reply with the tracking number.

Just to add, you aren't obligated to issue a refund.

"...Buyer says they went to the post office and with a tracking number they are SOL........"
this makes no sense...the PO would be able to determine (via GPS) where the delivery scan was initiated...
tells me the buyer probably did not go to the local PO (but as usual, I could be wrong)
anyways, the buyer should file an INR with ebay.....if the scans show "delivered" your just need to respond to the ebay message with the tracking number

Oh I 100% agree. Item has a tracking number posted right on it. The person had tracking info to talk to the post office, I feel they didn't talk to the post office at all.

Thank you. Feels like the start of scam. Tracking number says everything went fine on my end.
