A customer from Canada brought a guitar from me, I purchased an eBay International Standard Delivery I dropped it off yesterday and today I just got the package back with a return to sender signature required. there's no reason on the label or on the tracking. it just came back any idea how i can get info on why it was sent back?

USPS returned it less than 24 hours after you dropped it off?

I'd be asking the people at the PO what the issue is.

Check with the USPS... specifically your local post office.

You may have answered your own question. Customs forms need to be manually dated and signed by the seller.

Other problems include the post office requires the buyers FULL name and address. Not J. Smith for instance.

It may have exceeded weight or size restrictions. If it was over 4 pounds or it was over l+w+h of 36" and you attempted to use first class.

But others have said - the best we can do is guess. Ask your postmaster.

Take the box to the post office.  Fill out a customs form and speak with a supervisor to make sure that they accept it WITHOUT you paying again.  They can do it.   They add a new shipping label that says 00 cents.

If the package was underweight , then you should just pay the difference.   Remember, all international packages require a customs form.

Was the guitar going directly to Canada are was it going to the international standard depot first? If it was the latter, I doubt that it had anything to do with customs as I would think that they would handle it at their end.
