Item marked as Located in US but not

I purchased item that listing said was located in US, but it is being shipped with an EconomyInternational tracking number. 

Can I file a compaint against the seller?

Yes. That is considered "item location misrepresentation" and can be reported.

Was delivery time critical?

Whats the estimated delivery date... 2-6 weeks away?

There should have been an estimated delivery date as well as the shiping method on the listing. It should still show on the item in your purchase history.

eBay allows anyone with a warehouse in the US to claim to be a US based seller. You have to carefully check each seller's feedback and delivery dates. Also check their profile as many still say they are in China or India.

All you can really do is wait for the delivery dates listed to pass and file item not received if it has not arrived.

I guess I will have to be a bit more carefull. But you do not find out some of this info until you pay and the item is shipped. 

I definitely will give them a poor feedback rating for their deliberate deception. The item was clearly marked as located in US. 

I could have purchased the same item for much less if I wanted to wait for it to come from China!
