Item hasn't been shipped

I'm sick of these sellers that take your money and then do not ship your item.  Then you have to jump through hoops to get your money back.  What na waste of time. I bought an item and they haven't shipped it in 2 weeks.  There is no place on ebay to complain! My complaint was replied to by saying it has been shipped...EHEN THE SELLER SAYS SORRY AND HAS OFFERED THREE DIFFERENT REASONS IT HASN'T BEEN SHIPPED!  AND I CAN'T EVEN START A COMPLAINT YET!!! AND IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE FOR CHRISTMAS!! SOB!!

If you had read eBay's money back guarantee, you would know that all you need to do is go to the Resolution Center and open a not received case.  If the seller cannot prove delivery via a valid tracking number, you will be refunded in full.

 Very easy process.

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.

Yes, but she has to wait to estimated delivery time. Or request a cancel. 

 

2 weeks? I suppose you ordered something from China, right? It's their standard that they need at least one week to ship it, but mostly they lie that they shipped the item and post office lost the package (I heard it million times). 

They waste our time and ebay doesnt do anything with them. 

 

Check estimated delivery time and open a case as not received item.

Yes, very frustrating. The seller provides a tracking number that they issue at their home and it never gets to the post office. I have contacted her and she says oh just be patient. The number I put in says it does not recognize it and this has gone on for a week. How long do I have to wait to file a complaint?

If you paid through Paypal you can open an item not received claim through them now.

It would be smarter to simply open an INR complaint with eBay as soon as allowed.

I shipped something recently that was on the smaller side in a smaller padded envelope. I dropped in a blue box at the actual post office on the way to work. First scan didn't happen until many days later when it arrived half way across the country. So it missed acceptance scan, received at sorting center scan, departed sorting center scan, in transit updates, and accepted at buyers's location sorting center scan. FINALLY got a departed buyer's sorting center scan several days after mailing, received by local PO scan, and then a delivered scan the next day.

I was worried the entire time, due to the small size, it had disappeared with all of the holiday shipping. But it hadn't. It just joined a lot of holiday shipping. It was delivered before the stated last date, and I haven't heard anything from the buyer since it was delivered. All is well.

Given the time of year,, I understand you want confirmation that it's on its way to you, but don't assume it's not, because with all the extra work for the holiday season, I think scans aren't always happening or updating as quickly as you are accustomed to seeing.

BUT, Since the seller admitted 3 times they have not shipped yet, I'd be on the side of leaving feedback reflecting my experience NOW, as it can be updated later by seller's request. Perhaps appropriate feedback received would light a fire under the seller to get the item to you,, and the feedback revised if needed. Other than that, if you really feel the seller is jerking you around, I'd give up the item is actually going to arrive for Xmas, and plan on gifting something else. IF you believe you will receive the item but it will be after Xmas, may I suggest wrapping a pic of the item in a gift package with a statement, it's on its way!

Since it's the holiday season, why not just give this a try.
