Item delivered to wrong zip code

Hi, I shipped an item domestically more than 5 weeks ago and it was delivered. Today the buyer contacted me and said that they didn't receive the item. The reason for the late inform is that they were on vacation for 2-3 weeks and that the shipping address is an international parcel forwarding. I checked the tracking info and it does show that it was delivered to a different zip code 07606 when it was supposed to be delivered to 07601. Below is the tracking info:

Shame on me for not checking the tracking info more thoroughly. Any recourse? I already started a missing mail search and filed a claim.

Is that the address eBay told you to ship to? Some cities have several zip codes.

Yes, it is the correct address. I printed it out directly from ebay. But the tracking shows that it arrived at post office 07601 and then "delivered, left with individual" at 07606. Is there any chance that these zip codes are shared?

You need to call post office 07601 and see about that 07606. Sometimes it is just delivery man mistake when they forget to change settings on their scanner for that zip code. Sometimes they do have several zip codes to deliver or just temp worker from 07606 who didn't changed his settings.

I tried calling the post office of 07601 but no one answered. The phone number of the 07606 post office doesn't even exist. I'm going to call USPS consumer affair office of those zip code and ask them to connect me with the postmasters of those POs.
