Item Number Not Printing On Shipping Label

Starting today we noticed the item number stopped printing on the shipping label. We had the box checked to print the number and now instead it prints our personal SKU number from the inventory field. Such as "red tag box number 1234" for example. It used to print the item number which was helpful for some Buyers (and Sellers). Has anyone else noticed this? If you check the box and manually cut and paste the item number it will populate the field and print, otherwise it prints whatever you have entered in your SKU field when listing. Could this be a glitch?

We may have figured out the answer to our own question: today I printed a label that did not have our SKU unique field filled out and it populated the item number onto the label when we clicked that box. So... if you have your own personal SKU identification number field filled out and you print a label with that box checked it will print your field on the label.  If you leave it blank (but check the box) it prints that item number just like on the classic labels.
