Hi all, So I have both a PO Box at UPS and a home address. I usually use the PO Box for packages so that they don't sit outside my front door when I'm at work. But for small items I ship to my home address instead. So when I purchased something on ebay recently, it was small so I changed the shipping address at the check out to my home address. . It showed at check out that my home address was the shipping address and even when I click on order details it shows my home address as the shipping as well. However, when I got the email from ebay this weekend that said "order update" and that it was being shipped, it showed the address it will be shipped to as my PO Box.... Is there a way to tell for sure in advance which shipping address it went to? Not sure why it would ship to my PO BOX when I instructed it at check out not to....., Thanks!

Go to items purchased page and the right side there should be a drop down with terms as Return item, View similar items, Leave feedback and more actions. Click the more actions drop down and select ORDER DETAILS. This will show your invoice and the address it was sent to.

As a alternative for the future, you can open another Ebay account and have the shipping address different as the one on your current account. Ebay does allow an additional account but i think you may have to have a different email but look into it under the Ebay guidelines.
This way you can purchase items from either account depending on where you want to ship the item at.
Just an option.

In adddition to what @chevymontecarlo88 said
If you used paypal to pay, you can check the transaction details in paypal to make sure the address is the same. It should be but you never know.

FYI, this does not work anymore. With managed payments, there are no details available in PayPal. All it shows is a payment to eBay, and the eBay order number, so the only details are those available in the eBay purchase history for that order number.

Incorrect. As a BUYER you cannot see the seller, but you can see the shipping address in PayPal.

well for paypal, my shipping address is the PO BOX, which is why I made sure on the ebay checkout page to specific that I wanted it to go to a different address other than the PO BOX........

Here is another one I just made on my business account this weekend for some metric screws I bought, so yeah, you can see the shipping address on both personal and business accounts when you buy something.

That's it !!!
Ships to the address provided at checkout. Or at least it should. Just where you wanted it to go.
Either way, as it is a small item, no harm, no foul. You will get it. No porch pirates.
If the item was being shipped to the "mailbox" at the UPS store that street address would have to have been provided at checkout.
As for the message from eBay...................................... well.................... eBay does some strange stuff. Just another example of eBay IT coding.
