I bought a hand warmer (our hands in the warehouse are too cold to package items quickly and efficiently) from a seller who is in Anaheim, about 25 miles away from me on Monday at noon. Should've gotten to me already.
Fedex tracking only shows postage label created on Monday 12/14. Are they experiencing massive delays like USPS and their tracking is also affected? I don't have experience with Fedex much (both buying and selling). This tracking indicates the package hasn't even been received yet right?

I've received a few Christmas purchases this week via FedEx ... I have noticed a 1-2 day delay in transit from further away, but all had timely "Picked Up" or "Accepted" scans.

Hubby ordered something from Walmart last Saturday, 13 Dec. His label said the same thing - info sent to Fedex - until today. Now the package is in Olive Branch, so about two hours from here. It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. The original delivery date was Thursday, 17 Dec before it went to pending on Monday.

I read this just a little while ago: According to the Washington Post FedEx and UPS have halted new deliveries for some retailers, diverting huge quantities of packages to US Postal Service. (see 2nd paragraph in the article below.) And the hot topic on this forum is the massive delays at USPS. So, yeah, virtually all shippers are experiencing huge delays. They're not turning away business, they're just being dishonest about the whole mess.
