Just checking. Does anyone know if USPS will deliver mail January 31st New Years Eve?

NY eve is 12/31. the PO is open that day but closed on 1/2 for NY DAY

I'm assuming you mean December 31st not January 31st. Yes regular mail will be delivered on that Saturday. Check your local Post Office in case there's limited hours if you need to actually go into the post office.

Looking at USPS schedule it looks to me like the PO
is operating normally on Monday 1/02

The United States Postal Service (USPS) will not deliver mail on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, and local post offices will also be closed. Priority Express Mail, however, will be delivered both days

Yes, I meant December 31st New Years Eve. Thanks.

They are operating normally on December 31st. There will be no USPS service on Sunday, January 1 and Monday January 2.
When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the previous Friday is a day off for the PO. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, like this year, it's celebrated by the PO on the following Monday.
Strange that the USPS would state otherwise on their official schedule.

I have 2 items tagged as "Out for Delivery" TODAY on tracking, so I assume that they are working today as normal.......

Yes, they are delivering. The post offices will probably close early today just like December 24th which I believe is noon.

Post offices where I am are open as usual today.
Since today is Saturday they operate under their Saturday hours.
The PO everywhere will be closed Monday.

January 31 is a Tuesday, I don't think anything is going on that day, so yes...
