I made a GSP pre-sale on an item that was supposed to release today but instead the manufacturing date got pushed back to February.
I'm not worried about going over the 30-day time window since I've had something similar happen in the past with domestic pre-sale orders which went through with no issues. (Yes, I know this technically isn't allowed but I made sure to check in with the buyers and they were okay with the delays. As long as there is an understanding between buyer and seller, it seems eBay lets you get away with a lot of things).
However, this will be a first with GSP. Does anyone have experience with GSP handling orders beyond the 30-day time window?
Alternatively, is there a cut-off point when the provided Erlanger airport reference address becomes null and void? I'm thinking that the address remains valid for quite a while as many international orders take a LONG time to reach the customer, and if there is something wrong that involves sending replacements/accessories/missing pieces/etc, then it would have to remain valid over 30 days for that to work.

Replacements, etc don't go through KY: It's one and done, and then the seller reships/returns directly with the buyer.
The reference expires along with the listing itself.

Interesting. So I shouldn't have any problems shipping the items beyond the standard 30 day time window as long as I keep the listing active? Are you speaking from experience?

If you haven't shipped the first one (the pre order) how can you ship a replacement? hmm
My personal view points are -
1. that you will earn a defect as you did not ship the original pre order in a timely manner.
2. the delay of release by the manufacturer is not a valid excuse.
BTW what was the original ship by date? and estimated delivery date?
