My husband won auctions on some stop-smoking gum recently. He loves the "foreign" taste. Anyway, we are waiting on 3 different parcels that left their countries in late March. Usually, stalls would be after the items went "inbound - in to US Customs..." But this time, they are stuck on "Origin post is preparing shipment" (which is always AFTER the international flight departure from whatever country the item is from status update). I've been told that "Origin post is preparing shipment" usually means your item is on a pallet that is waiting to be unloaded and taken in to customs after having arrived this country at LAX or CHI or NYC or SFO. ANYWAY--all of his items have had this status for a week or more (usually we only see that status for 1-2 days max). I know there are major delays as a result of the COVID crisis, but I would expect that delay to happen in customs or waiting to depart the original country rather than during a weird limbo between the arrival flight and customs. IS ANYONE ELSE SEEING QUIRKY PATTERNS TO THEIR INCOMING INTERNATIONAL ITEMS LIKE THIS:)?
