International sellers are ALWAYS at fault for "Not Received Items"

I have been selling on Ebay since 2004 under different business names. The problem I see with shipping a package to an international buyer using 1st Class International Parcel is that there is no way to track this item. If someone buys something and you ship it out to them, who knows if they received it or not. They can always open a dispute to tie up your funds and the SELLER is ALWAYS at fault, even though you ship it and provided the label tracking number and can see it went to the international facility and was shipped from there to the destination country. But, it was never received by the destination country so it is the SELLER fault the buyer never received the package. Say again..... A SELLER should not be held responsible for a package that was sent and never reached a destination. EBAY needs to change the the POLICY so that both parties share in the loss. Not just the SELLER.  The seller lost the product he shipped, the seller lost the funds the buyer paid, and just maybe the buyer is being devious? SO, the SELLER is ALWAYS holding the bag in the end. IT SUCKS!

You can use a tracked service like eBay International Standard Delivery that includes up to $100 insurance in the event of a lost package. You can choose to not ship internationally. You can even use the GSP if you want. You have choices that don't involve taking a loss on untracked parcels.

The same thing would happen if you sent a package within the US without tracking.  Some countries do have delivery confirmation with first class international.  You might want to use it only to those countries.   There is a list of countries at the following link.

Yes GSP is your best bet, once delivered to Kentucky you are done, as they become responsible for shipping/tracking.
