Any advice appreciated. I shipped an item on April 10th through eBay Standard International. The buyer has recently reached out stating they haven’t received it. After researching I have found that USPS did not scan it upon pickup at my house and when researching the international tracking label I’m being told by eBay that the label was cancelled. I did not cancel the label. I’ve only ever canceled labels from the eBay app and this label does not show voided or cancelled. What are my options? The post office cannot locate it and eBay says to file a lost package. I’ve tried but when I submit for lost package it tells me that the label was voided. Is it possible that I’m somehow being scammed by the buyer? They have perfect feedback so I’m not leaning that way but I really don’t have any clue of what to do. I’m going to eat a $350 return it appears. TIA

Do you happen to have a tracking number starting with ES? If so, you might be able to get more information here.... https://parcelsapp.com/
eBay international standard does have insurance up to $100 but without proof of shipping, I doubt that you will be able to make a claim.

I do have the ES tracking number but that’s the one that says voided unfortunately. The USPS label was not scanned upon pickup at my house. Definitely has me thinking about dropping off all packages at the post office for scans going forward. Thanks for the response, you are correct that I cannot file a lost package claim because there is no proof it was picked up.

If there is no acceptance scan, you have no proof USPS ever got the package and you'll probably end up refunding the buyer.
