International Shipping /Damaged item

Hello,

I sold an expensive poster to someone in Canada utilizing the Global Shipping Program  sent from my house Expedited Shipping (USPS Priority Mail).   The customer recieved the item partially damaged because the shipping tube was crushed.  The customer wants to be made whole and compensated some how. I do not want the item back.   What is the best course of action?   Who is responsible?  Once it reaches the Global Shipping , who is the carrier?

Thank you

GSP is generally responsible if it arrived to GSP ok. If they file contact eBay on Facebook or Twitter and let them know it was delivered by GSP and ask them to close the case in your favor.

Re: International Shipping /Damaged item

The buyer has to open a return request stating that the item was damaged.  They could add a note mentioning that it was a gsp delivery and that it was damaged in shipping.   Then you should talk to customer service just to make sure that they are aware that it was damage caused by the gsp. The gsp should then refund in full and not require a return.
