I can see no option to send an invoice to a buyer who wants to pay for shipping. Can anyone help?

Because shipping is already predetermined by you either using a 'flat rate' amount that you choose, or ebay 'calculated'... UNLESS you have sold a buyer MORE THAN 1 item and you OFFER 'combined' shipping in your ebay preferences.

Did you sell more than 1 item?

Do you have 'combined' shipping enabled?

I don't know if this helps but I recently had a sale where the buyer requested a more expensive shipping service after having paid for the item. The solution I used was to create a buy it now listing for the additional shipping cost and title it as shipping adjustment for that buyer. You then link your buyer to the listing and after they pay you will have the full amount you need to ship with the more expensive service requested by the buyer.
